1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of Tasty Mangoes, including our website, mobile applications, browser extensions, software, recommendation tools, communication features, content, data, and related services.

By accessing or using Tasty Mangoes, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Tasty Mangoes.

2. About Tasty Mangoes

Tasty Mangoes helps users discover, organize, remember, rate, review, and share movies, shows, recommendations, lists, and related entertainment information.

The service may include movie lists, personal watchlists, friend recommendations, ratings, reviews, voice features, AI-powered search, streaming-availability information, browser extensions, contribution tools, notifications, and other features.

Some features may be experimental, in beta, incomplete, unavailable, or subject to change.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Tasty Mangoes.

If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Tasty Mangoes only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

You may not use Tasty Mangoes if you are prohibited from doing so under applicable law or if we have previously suspended or terminated your access.

4. Accounts

You may need to create an account to use certain features.

You agree to provide accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk for Tasty Mangoes or other users, misuse the service, or interfere with the operation of Tasty Mangoes.

5. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information.

By using Tasty Mangoes, you agree that we may collect and use information as described in our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms.

6. SMS Verification

Tasty Mangoes uses SMS solely to send one-time verification codes when you create an account or sign in. You initiate this by entering your mobile phone number and tapping "Send Code."

We do not send marketing messages, promotional messages, movie recommendations, friend invitations, or any other ongoing SMS communications. Your phone number is used only to verify your identity.

SMS verification is handled by a third-party provider (Twilio). We do not sell or share your mobile phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your consent to receive a verification code is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

7. User-Initiated Invitations and Recommendations

Tasty Mangoes may allow you to invite friends or share movie recommendations by composing a message through your device's own native messaging app. In that case, the message is sent from your phone number — not from Tasty Mangoes — and is governed by your own carrier and messaging app.

You may use these features only to contact people you personally know, who would reasonably expect to receive a message from you, and only for genuine personal, non-commercial Tasty Mangoes-related purposes.

You may not use Tasty Mangoes sharing features to send spam, unsolicited marketing, bulk messages, or messages to people who have not given you permission to contact them.

You are responsible for the accuracy of any contact information you provide and for ensuring that your contacts are willing to receive messages from you.

8. User Content

Tasty Mangoes may allow you to create, submit, upload, record, post, transmit, share, or store content, including ratings, reviews, comments, voice reviews, transcripts, recommendations, movie lists, watchlists, profile information, messages, and other materials ("User Content").

You retain ownership of your User Content. However, by submitting User Content to Tasty Mangoes, you grant Tasty Mangoes a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, process, display, transmit, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, and otherwise use your User Content as needed to operate, improve, protect, personalize, and promote the service.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit your User Content and grant this license.

You agree not to submit User Content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, invasive of privacy, misleading, infringing, obscene, threatening, spam, malware, or otherwise objectionable.

We may remove, edit, restrict, refuse to display, or delete User Content at any time, but we are not required to monitor all User Content.

9. Voice Features

Tasty Mangoes may include voice search, voice commands, voice reviews, voice notes, transcripts, and related AI-powered features.

Voice input may be processed to convert speech to text. Tasty Mangoes may retain transcripts and related metadata to operate, debug, personalize, and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

If you choose to create a voice review, voice note, or other shareable voice content, that content may be stored and made available according to your account settings and sharing choices.

You are responsible for the content of any voice input or voice review you submit.

10. Recommendations, Scores, AI Outputs, and Taste Profiles

Tasty Mangoes may provide recommendations, scores, summaries, categories, rankings, taste profiles, AI-generated responses, semantic search results, and other personalized outputs.

These outputs are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, subjective, unavailable, or not suitable for your preferences.

Tasty Mangoes does not guarantee that any recommendation, score, summary, search result, category, ranking, or AI-generated output will be accurate, enjoyable, appropriate, available, complete, or error-free.

11. Movie Data, Streaming Availability, and Third-Party Information

Tasty Mangoes may display information about movies, shows, actors, directors, genres, streaming availability, subscription options, rental or purchase options, and related third-party information.

This information may come from third-party sources, user contributions, licensed data, or publicly available information. Availability, pricing, and subscription requirements may change at any time.

Tasty Mangoes does not guarantee that any availability, pricing, metadata, or third-party information is complete, current, accurate, or error-free. Confirm details directly with the applicable streaming service or provider before making any viewing, subscription, rental, or purchase decision.

12. Third-Party Services and Links

Tasty Mangoes may link to or integrate with third-party services, platforms, streaming services, payment processors, communication providers, AI providers, analytics providers, and other service providers.

We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, availability, pricing, policies, terms, or privacy practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.

13. Tasty Mangoes Intellectual Property

Tasty Mangoes and its software, design, interface, logos, trademarks, service marks, graphics, workflows, data compilations, recommendation systems, scoring systems, algorithms, databases, text, audio, visual elements, and other service content are owned by Tasty Mangoes or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other laws.

Except as expressly allowed by these Terms, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, publicly display, publicly perform, reverse engineer, scrape, extract, harvest, republish, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any part of Tasty Mangoes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

14. Limited License to Use Tasty Mangoes

Subject to these Terms, Tasty Mangoes grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the service for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment and recommendation purposes.

This license does not allow you to use Tasty Mangoes for commercial data collection, competitive analysis, scraping, AI training, resale, republication, or operation of a competing product or service. We may revoke this license at any time if you violate these Terms.

15. Prohibited Uses

You agree that you will not, and will not assist, encourage, or enable anyone else to:

• Use Tasty Mangoes for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, deceptive, or harmful purpose
• Violate any applicable law, regulation, third-party right, or third-party terms
• Interfere with, disrupt, overload, damage, or impair Tasty Mangoes or its infrastructure
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Tasty Mangoes, user accounts, systems, networks, APIs, or databases
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation
• Harvest, collect, or misuse personal information about other users
• Send spam, unsolicited messages, bulk messages, or abusive invitations through any feature
• Manipulate ratings, reviews, rankings, recommendations, availability signals, or other service outputs
• Submit false, misleading, fraudulent, infringing, defamatory, harassing, threatening, obscene, or otherwise harmful content
• Upload or transmit malware, malicious code, spyware, bots, worms, or harmful software
• Use Tasty Mangoes to build, train, benchmark, evaluate, or operate a competing product, service, recommendation engine, movie-discovery tool, streaming-availability tool, AI model, or similar service

16. No Scraping, Crawling, Data Mining, or AI Training

You may not access, acquire, copy, monitor, scrape, crawl, spider, harvest, mine, extract, download, index, aggregate, cache, store, reproduce, or systematically retrieve any part of Tasty Mangoes, whether by automated or manual means.

This prohibition applies to all Tasty Mangoes content and data, including movie lists, user lists, ratings, reviews, recommendations, availability information, metadata, taste profiles, contribution data, interface elements, API responses, and data compilations.

You may not use Tasty Mangoes content or data to train, develop, improve, test, evaluate, benchmark, or operate any artificial intelligence model, machine-learning model, large language model, recommendation system, or similar software system.

17. No Circumvention

You may not bypass, avoid, disable, or circumvent any access controls, technical protections, rate limits, authentication requirements, bot detection, IP blocks, CAPTCHAs, or other measures used by Tasty Mangoes to protect the service.

If we restrict your access by any means, you may not attempt to evade that restriction through proxies, VPNs, new accounts, automation, or other methods.

18. Enforcement and Remedies

We may investigate suspected violations of these Terms, block or throttle access, suspend or terminate accounts, remove content, report activity to law enforcement, and take legal action.

You agree that unauthorized scraping, automated access, data extraction, AI training, or circumvention may cause irreparable harm to Tasty Mangoes for which monetary damages may be insufficient, and that Tasty Mangoes may seek injunctive or equitable relief in addition to other available remedies.

19. Contribution Features and Browser Extensions

Tasty Mangoes may offer optional contribution tools, including browser extensions or app features that help improve streaming-availability information, movie metadata, recommendations, and other service features.

If you use contribution features, you agree to use them only as intended and in ways that comply with applicable law and third-party terms. You may not use contribution tools to collect unrelated browsing activity, personal messages, payment information, passwords, or other sensitive information.

20. App Stores and Device Platforms

If you download Tasty Mangoes through Apple's App Store, TestFlight, or another app marketplace, your use may also be governed by that platform's terms. The app store provider is not responsible for Tasty Mangoes, our content, support, or operation, except as required by applicable platform rules.

21. Payments, Subscriptions, and Paid Features

Tasty Mangoes may offer paid features, subscriptions, or premium services. If offered, pricing, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund details will be disclosed at the time of purchase. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or applicable app store rules.

22. Beta, Pilot, and Experimental Features

Tasty Mangoes may release beta, pilot, preview, or experimental features. These features may be incomplete, unreliable, changed, or discontinued at any time. We may use feedback and usage information from beta features to improve the service.

23. Feedback

If you provide suggestions, ideas, bug reports, feature requests, or other feedback, you grant Tasty Mangoes a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and otherwise exploit that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.

24. Copyright and DMCA

If you believe content on Tasty Mangoes infringes your copyright, send a notice to legal@tastymangoes.com including: your name and contact information; identification of the copyrighted work; identification of the allegedly infringing material; a good-faith belief statement that the use is unauthorized; a statement that the information in your notice is accurate; and your physical or electronic signature.

We may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material and may terminate repeat infringers.

25. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using Tasty Mangoes at any time. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access at any time if we believe you violated these Terms, created legal risk, harmed other users, or abused the service.

After termination, provisions that by their nature should survive will survive, including ownership, prohibited uses, anti-scraping, enforcement, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and dispute resolution.

26. Disclaimers

Tasty Mangoes is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tasty Mangoes disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, reliability, security, and uninterrupted operation.

We do not guarantee that Tasty Mangoes will be error-free, secure, uninterrupted, current, complete, or free of harmful components. You use Tasty Mangoes at your own risk.

27. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tasty Mangoes and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, device damage, or business interruption.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tasty Mangoes' total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to Tasty Mangoes in the six months before the event giving rise to the claim; or (b) $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some limitations may not apply to you.

28. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Tasty Mangoes and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to: your use of Tasty Mangoes; your User Content; your violation of these Terms; your violation of any law or third-party right; or your misuse of any sharing, scraping, automated access, AI training, or circumvention activity.

29. Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or restrict any part of Tasty Mangoes at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, discontinuation, or loss of access, except where required by law.

30. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you by posting updated Terms, sending email, or providing in-app notice. Your continued use of Tasty Mangoes after updated Terms become effective means you accept them.

31. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

32. Dispute Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at legal@tastymangoes.com and try to resolve the dispute informally. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or Tasty Mangoes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California.

You and Tasty Mangoes waive any right to a jury trial to the fullest extent permitted by law.

33. Miscellaneous

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Tasty Mangoes regarding the service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. Headings are for convenience only.
